Set out in our Operations Procedures are the correct working practises used by staff. These keep an accurate record of the safe ways to use equipment and run sessions.
All buildings used for visitors and accommodation purposes contain smoke and heat detectors linked to an alarm. Our equipment and regulations are annually reviewed by in house and external advisors.
Our two residential buildings contain fire equipment and exits as well as all the regulation emergency signs required from the risk assessment.
Many of the sessions we run at the centre take participants off the group which uses harnesses and other PPE. This equipment is checked by senior staff monthly and before each session.
The centre operates in accordance with regulations and legislation set by the government. The management team continually reviews the HSE advice and outdoor activity advisors guidance to help keep the standards of safety at a high level.
